For the Men of Easy Company – the Band of Brothers – the war in Europe began in the predawn hours of June 6, 1944 when they parachuted into the French countryside, behind enemy lines.   Host and Historian Erik Dorr has not only studied the history but has heard first hand accounts from several E-Company Veterans.   He’s led small group tours of fewer than six people and accompanied large groups of eighty across the pastures and through the villages of the Cotentin Peninsula.  Traveling from Normandy to the Eagle’s Nest, this itinerary puts your boots on the ground – near the DZ in Zon, at the crossroads on the “island,” just a few “klicks” from Arnhem, in the foxholes outside of Bastogne, and to the summit of the Eagles’ Nest.  And E-Company’s Brad Freeman, above, 1944,  will be our special guest!
